Eat It Alert!

The location formerly known as The Miss Albany Diner will become an Italian restaurant named Sciortino’s after the owner's grandparents. I was sad to see M.A.D. go, but it's nice to see that the place will be open again. See the post here

  1. Molto bene! An Italian Jew should run a damn good restaurant, methinks. For the record, in Italian that name would be pronounced "Shortino." "Sc" before the letter "i" in Italian is like "sh" in English. I hope they keep up the MAD legacy of serving unusual dishes.

  2. Did I make a mistake by putting the periods in MAD? I like how it's a real acronym like IRA or GOP.
